How far ahead can I book?
It is possible to book up to 12 months ahead of your travel date and in doing so you will guarantee your space and obtain the maximum level of advanced purchase discount. Should your plans change, you can amend or cancel without charge provided you do so more than 24 hours before the date you are due to enter the car park. Please note that this does not apply to Saver products, which offer larger discounts and strictly cannot be cancelled or amended at anytime.
How close to my departure date can I make my car parking booking?
All of our car parks can be booked up to 24 hours before your arrival time at the car park.
Can I cancel or amend my car parking booking if my travel plans change?
You can cancel or amend your car parking booking up to 24 hours before your date of entry into the car park. You will qualify for a full refund, as long we receive notification of your cancellation in time. The only exception to this policy is Saver products. These products offer larger discounts and it is not possible to cancel or amend them.
How are parking charges calculated?
Car parks are priced per 24-hour period or part thereof. The number of 'days' (24-hour periods) charged for when you pre-book is calculated on the basis of the times you select when making your booking. However, if your actual entry and exit time changes and as a result your actual time in the car park runs into another 24-hour period (over and above that booked), you will be liable for an additional day's charge at the drive-up tariff.
How often do car parking prices change?
Our car parking prices are constantly monitored to ensure that we offer the best price possible. Hence, our prices are subject to change, so please bear in mind that quotes are valid at the time of booking only.
Why can’t I get a quote for the car park I’m looking for?
The most likely explanation is that the pre-book allocation for this car park has been filled. In most circumstances we will still be able to accommodate you if you just turn up. If you are unsure please telephone 01582 395484.
What is a Saver?
Some of our car parks offer Saver deals with bigger discounts for customers who book a certain number of days in advance (as detailed on the website). Saver’s offer less flexibility than other parking packages. Once booked they cannot be cancelled or amended at anytime.
What are the minimum stay periods for your car parks?
Our car parks do not have any minimum stay requirements, although the minimum length you can book for is one day.
How do I book disabled parking?
There are disabled bays in all car parks which are clearly marked and close to bus stops. If you need wheelchair access, nearly all buses are low-loading and have space to accommodate chairs.
I am picking up a disabled passenger from the airport. Where do I park?
Please park in a disabled Bay in the Short Term Car Park. You are entitled to an hours free parking on production of your badge and entry ticket to the APCOA Customer Services Desk in the Terminal. Your ticket must be validated at the APCOA desk prior to your exit.
How do I know my booking has been placed?
When you make your booking you will see a confirmation page with a booking reference number. You will then receive two emails. One will confirm your payment has been made and the second email will confirm all the details of your booking. You should print this email and bring it with you to the airport in case of any query. If you do not receive a confirmation email please email us at luton.customerservices@apcoa.co.uk. We will check that your booking has been made and confirm this to you.
What should I do if I want to cancel or change a car parking booking?
You can cancel or amend a car parking booking up to 24 hours before the date of entry to the car park. You will qualify for a refund, as long we receive notification of your cancellation in time.

What do I do when I get to the car park?
Press the central button on the Barrier to receive a ticket. The barrier will then rise to allow entry to the car park. Please retain this ticket as it will be required for payment and exit.
What happens when I return from my trip?
Pre-booked customers should return to their cars and drive to the exit barrier. At the exit barrier please press the intercom button and quote your reference number. Staff will validate your booking and raise the barrier allowing you to exit.
All non pre booked customers are required to pay and validate their ticket themselves. This can be done either at the APCOA Customer Services Desk in the terminal, or at one of the payment machines located around the Terminal Building and Car Parks. You are also able to pay by credit or debit card at the Exit Barriers.
How do I find out which bus stop I go to when I arrive back?
As you leave the airport terminal there will be clear signs pointing to where you pick up your courtesy bus back to the car park. Please wait at Bus Stop 3 for the Mid Term Car Park, and Bus Stop 2 for the Long Term Car Park.
Will there be a courtesy bus running early in the morning or late at night?
Both the Mid and Long term car parks operate a 24-hour transfer service to the terminal. The mid term car park bus runs every 10 minutes and the long term car park bus runs every fifteen minutes.
Are there any restrictions on the kind of vehicle I can bring?
We do not have any height restrictions in the car parks, but please contact Customer Services on (01582) 395484 or email at luton.customerservices@apcoa.co.uk to ensure we can accommodate the vehicle and to confirm any additional charges.
What are the Drop Off and Pick Up arrangements at London Luton Airport ?
For Drop Off, you are welcome to use the Drop Off Zone directly outside the Terminal itself with no charge for 10 minutes. For Pick Up, please park in the Short Term Car Park and walk up to the terminal to meet your passengers. Short Term Tariffs apply.
Is there a valet parking service available?
Yes, Priority Parking is our new valet parking product which can be pre-booked.
What happens if my car won’t start at the car park?
Don’t worry, go to the nearest bus stop or payment machine and press the intercom. This will be answered by the duty manager of the car park. If this is not possible, please call them direct on 07809 492373. They will send out a van to jump start your car. If any further assistance than this is required, you must contact your Breakdown Service
What happens if my car gets damaged while it is parked in the airport car park?
In the unlikely event of this happening, you must go directly to the duty manager of the car park to whom you should report the incident. They can be reached either at the APCOA Customer Services Desk in the Terminal, or at the Mid Term Car Park Office. Do not leave the car park without reporting the incident.
What happens if my return flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed and you go over your pre-booked car park exit time, you will be charged for an additional day at the drive-up price.
What happens if I need to leave the car park and then re-enter?
Before you exit the car park advise the attendant as to why you need to exit and return. They will give you instructions on the procedures to take when you re-enter. Alternatively, please contact Customer Services on (01582) 395484 or luton.customerservices@apcoa.co.uk in advance to arrange this.

What parking facilities are there for motorcycles/bicycles?
Please park in the Short Term Car Park near the fence free of charge. You are not required to take a ticket from the barrier. Please contact the Airport for Locker Facilities in the Airport for Helmets and Leathers on 01582 405100.
How do I get to the Terminal from the Car Park?
You can walk from the Short Term Car Park to the Terminal. There is a transfer bus from both the Mid and Long Term Car Parks, taking 5 and 10 minutes respectively.
